Competition INTERCOOLER KIT for GR Yaris 1.6-L Turbo
The WAGNERTUNING high performance intercooler has a new Competition - Mesh (Tube Fin) with the dimensions
630 mm x 137 mm x 135 mm + 630 mm x 43 mm x 100 mm (stepped mesh: 14.36 liters), which was specially developed for the requirements of the Toyota GR Yaris. This high-performance mesh offers a 24% larger airflow area and 69% more mesh volume compared to the original intercooler.
The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations (for an ideal internal air flow). The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. In addition, the newly developed competition high-performance network provides the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, with sufficient air flow through the use of a specially manufactured air baffle. This makes this kit just right for racing. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
An anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction properties protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from all environmental influences, which guarantees a long-lasting and optimal cooling effect. Installation takes place at the original fastening points and is easy to carry out (plug and play). All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
Inlet and outlet diameters have been increased to Ø60mm. Therefore, this kit includes reinforced silicone hoses, as well as an aluminum boost and charge pipe.
