The new EVO3.X network variant was developed in collaboration with a renowned Audi tuner and is suitable for higher performance increases from 600 hp. The size of the intercooler remains unchanged from the standard version. Only the internal network structure has been further optimized for the high performance classes and adapted to the conditions. The EVO3.X thus ensures optimal charge air throughput with very good cooling performance. For all performance classes below 600 hp, we still recommend using the standard version.
The high-performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (515mm x 367mm x 95mm [stepped] = 16.5L) and thus offers an 84% larger inflow area and 101% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed competition high-performance mesh provides the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, with sufficient air flow. It is a high-quality tube fin mesh with internal turbulators. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and were optimized using flow analyses in the CFD system. With the help of integrated air baffles in the inlet, the intercooler is filled evenly. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This makes this kit ideal for racing. In addition, all of our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The intercooler and the cross member form a stable unit and, thanks to the new Competition high-performance network, weigh only 14.3 kg. Installation takes place at the original attachment points and is easy to carry out (1:1 exchange). Tested up to 6 bar and pressure-stable. All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
