Competition intercooler kit Ford Focus RS MK3
The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (630mm x 215mm x 125mm = 16,931cm³) and thus offers a 10% larger air flow area and 72% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh is very light, so the complete intercooler weighs just 9.2kg. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and were optimized using flow analyses in the CAD system. With the help of integrated air baffles in the inlet, the intercooler is filled evenly. The connection diameters at the inlet and outlet have been expanded to 70mm. The kit therefore includes two reinforced silicone hoses. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This makes this kit just right for racing. It is installed at the original attachment points and is easy to carry out (1:1 exchange). Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance! All our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
