The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (530mm x 205mm x 95mm = 10,300cm³) and thus offers a 20% larger inflow area and 86% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. A new type of Competition high-performance mesh (Tube Fin) is used here, which was developed specifically for the requirements of the Subaru WRX STi. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal air flow using CFD simulations. The inlets and outlets of the intercooler have not been changed. The counter pressure of the intercooler is identical to that of the standard intercooler. An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties protects our intercoolers from environmental influences. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Installation is carried out by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to carry out (plug and play). All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
