The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new type of Competition Mesh (Tube Fin) with dimensions of 620 mm x 390 mm x 56 mm. This corresponds to an external mesh volume of 13.5 liters. The WagnerTuning Competition intercooler for the Ford Fiesta ST / Puma ST thus offers a 150% larger frontal airflow area and 86% more external mesh volume compared to the original intercooler.
The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations (for an ideal internal air flow). With the help of an air duct incorporated inside the cooler inlet, an even filling of the intercooler network is ensured. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. In addition, the newly developed competition high-performance network provides the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, with sufficient air flow and is also very light. This makes this kit just right for racing. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
An anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction properties protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from all environmental influences, which guarantees a long-lasting and optimal cooling effect. Installation takes place at the original fastening points and is easy to carry out (plug and play). All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
