Here we provide you with the complete package for retrofitting the original rear view camera in your VW Tiguan 5N.
When you engage reverse gear, the live image from the rear view camera with the dynamic guide lines automatically appears in your multimedia system.
With this retrofit package you can upgrade the original rear view camera - all functions as installed at the factory.
After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completely automatically activates the rear view camera with the help of the innovative KECODI APP that is already pre-configured for you.

The retrofitting of the original rear view camera system / Rear Assist is possible on all VW Tiguan 5N models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift + facelift from model year 2016) with one of the following installed multimedia systems:
RNS510 navigation system
RNS315 navigation system
MIB2 navigation system with PR number: 7UP, 7QU or 7UR (= installed in facelift models from 05.2015).
For your VW Tiguan AD from model year 2017 you need the rear view camera retrofit package with article number: 10930
NOT suitable for models with RCD radio system without navigation function (e.g. RCD300, RCD310 etc.).
The completely original HIGH reversing camera system is supplied - specifically tailored to your vehicle.
An automatic switchover occurs when reverse gear is engaged.
Dynamic guide lines and fields are displayed which change/move according to the steering wheel angle and thus show you where you are going.
