We supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original swiveling trailer coupling / AHK.

This means you do not need to install a universal trailer hitch from the accessories.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the coding dongle supplied here completes the automatic activation of the trailer hitch with the help of the innovative APP that is already pre-configured for you.

The retrofitting of the original swiveling trailer hitch is possible on all VW Passat B8 models of all body types (Variant, Sedan, alltrack), all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) and all equipment variants with (PR number: 1D8) or without trailer hitch preparation (PR number: 1D0).

The original swiveling trailer coupling extends when the new button is pressed (this is located in the right trunk panel).

The original system is installed and put into operation as it was at the factory, no "special work" is required as is often the case with some accessory systems, for example the automatic shutdown of the parking aid when towing a trailer, the increase in cooling performance, the opening of the possibly installed electric tailgate, etc. naturally works.

The final activation is done entirely with the included KECODI coding interface!

There is no need for activation by your VW partner using an SVM code or manual coding.

This makes it possible to easily install the original VW Passat B8 electric / automatically pivoting trailer hitch.
