Significantly upgrade your VW ID.5 with the original electric tailgate.
Here we provide you with the complete package for retrofitting the original electric trunk / luggage compartment lid in your VW ID.5
You can open and close the trunk lid automatically without any effort.
The maximum opening height can also be freely adjusted.
Choose for yourself whether you also want to install the button in the driver’s door.
The button on the tailgate is simply replaced with the currently installed blind cap.
After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you to completely automatically activate the electric tailgate, including parameterization and coding of all control units.

There is NO need to visit your VOLKSWAGEN partner's workshop!
The unlocking (also known colloquially as "GEKO" / "SFD") as well as the complete activation (= the coding / parameterization and the final deletion of the error memory) is carried out automatically by KECODI in the shortest possible time!

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).
Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.
Vehicles from model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Retrofitting the original electric tailgate is possible on all VW ID.5 models of all years of manufacture and all equipment variants.
We supply you with the complete package here, all Volkswagen ID5 models can be retrofitted, all currently installed control units as well as the existing radio keys of your fully electric VW ID.5 are already capable of this special equipment at the factory.
The tailgate is opened using the middle button on your existing vehicle key and, of course, using the handle on the tailgate.
With the new button in the tailgate you can open and close the trunk.
You can also open and close the tailgate using the new button in the driver's door (available as an option).
