Retrofitting this very convenient tracking system with integrated OBD protection is easily possible on all Skoda models of all years of manufacture and all equipment variants.

It is not relevant whether a tracking system or preparation for it is already installed at the factory.

e.g. suitable for SKODA Fabia, Kamiq, Karoq, Kodiaq, Octavia, Rapid, Octavia, Roomster, Scala, SuperB, Yeti etc.

Functional description:

In order for the tracking system to work, you must insert an additional SIM card that supports the GSM standard. For example, we recommend using a simple T-Mobile prepaid mobile phone card for use in Germany.

If you call the number of this SIM card (which only you know) or send an SMS with any content to this number, the tracking system will respond with an SMS in which you will receive the exact GPS data, the time, the speed and a link to a convenient map display.

This means that there are no costs - apart from the additional mobile phone card required - no subscription or license is necessary - the system works immediately - with no time limit.

As an additional function, our tracking system adapts to a plug of our choice with a freely selected pin assignment (a thief cannot recognize this plug and will not even find it).

The factory-installed pink OBD connector in the driver's footwell is no longer needed after installation; the connector we have chosen is installed instead. A thief would usually "give up" his attempt to start your car with his "diagnostic system" at this point.

If you take your Skoda to the workshop (eg for customer service), you can easily access your vehicle again using the adapter cable supplied, which fits the tracking system's plug - we also choose this freely. This way we can guarantee the highest possible level of protection and security in such a case.

Installation instructions:

Unclip the existing OBD diagnostic connector in the driver's footwell; it is only plugged in.

Connect the supplied adapter of the Plug & Play tracking system and stow the system behind the left panel in the footwell panel (visible when the door / A-pillar panel is open) - no coding work is necessary.

COMPLETE !

So that you or your workshop can read the vehicle again with a tester, you simply have to plug in the supplied individual adapter cable. The electrics are then back in their "standard condition" and vehicle diagnosis is possible again.
