Eventuri's AMG GTR intake system is a fully sealed system developed through extensive real world testing and airflow simulation analysis. It features our patented venturi housings which allow the most consistent airflow possible to the turbo inlets. The housings enclose our bespoke filters which help shape the airflow and maintain laminar conditions. They have also been maximised in their internal volume to reduce restrictions and in the process we have also redesigned the central OEM cover as it presses on the much larger system. Finally, intake air temperatures are kept consistent with the ducts sealing to the filter housings. The AMG GTR intake system has been independently tested by RENNtech, the world's leading Mercedes tuning company, and has been proven to improve performance on both stock and tuned engines. Each system comes complete with the carbon central cover.

The Eventuri Difference

The C190/R190 AMG GTR Eventuri intake system uses our patented carbon housings with our bespoke Gen 2 filters that provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbos. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that induces the Venturi effect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce drag on the turbo.

dyno tests

Dyno testing was carried out by RENNtech in the USA, who tested a stock GTR and also with their own ECU tune back to back, comparing the OEM airboxes to our intake system. As can be seen below, Eventuri's intake offers a power gain across the entire rev range. Peak power and torque figures are summarised below for each configuration. Mid-range gains are higher than the claimed peaks in some places, as can be seen in the graphs. The resulting gains are noticeable on the road through better throttle response and improved acceleration times.
