The intake system for the F87 M2 Competition is designed to allow the turbos to work more efficiently. By replacing the stock airbox system with our patented venturi filter housings and smooth curved pipes, the airflow to the turbos is more laminar, allowing them to roll with less resistance. Since the M2 Competition has no air ports behind the grilles, we also added sealed ducts to ensure that inlet temperatures remain as low as possible. The combination of our venturi housings, organically shaped pipes and sealed ducts results in an optimized intake opening that sets a benchmark for this car.
The Eventuri DifferenceThe M2 Competition Eventuri system uses our patented carbon fiber housings with our custom Gen 2 filters, allowing for an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbos. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that induces the Venturi effect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce drag on the turbo.
Each intake system consists of:
- 2 x Patented carbon fiber venturi housings
- 2 x Custom-made High Flow Generation 2 Filters
- 2 x aluminum baffles for smooth air entry
- Left-side carbon tube with integrated LMM sensor mount
- Right side carbon tube with integrated LMM sensor mount
- 2 carbon fiber intake channels
- Laser cut stainless steel consoles
- High quality silicone couplings with BMW specification hose clamps
