Tailor-made carbon intake system / intake solution, for real power and torque increase for BMW Mx40i series with B58 engine from Eventuri
With the new intake system for the BMW Mx40i series with B58 engine, Eventuri has once again set new standards in the combination of efficiency and design. The patented full carbon filter housing was processed with the inlet pipe in one continuous piece in order to direct the airflow into the turbo in an even more compressed and laminar manner. The newly arranged main heat shield consists of 2 parts that are separated by a thin air slot. The ingenious design ensures a cooling air suction between the shields and thus improves the shielding of the airflow.
The increase in performance is guaranteed by a cool, compressed air flow. The intake system alone provides a performance uplift of 12 - 15 HP!
The intake system comes in the following patented parts:
- Carbon filter housing with integrated inlet pipe
- Efficient high flow cone with urethane filter
- aluminum hood
- Carbon Scoop
- Carbon Filter Cover
- CNC MAF Boss
- 2-part main heat shield
- 2-piece secondary heat shield
- laser-cut suspension
The carbon housing shields the filter from the outside, but is also an essential part of shaping the airflow. The conical narrowing of the filter housing compresses and accelerates the airflow without heating up. The resulting Venturi effect ensures optimal airflow to the turbo and thus increases the performance of the engine.
