Significantly upgrade your AUDI A1 8X with the original light / rain sensor.
The windshield wipers switch on or off automatically when it rains - the headlights switch from daytime running lights to dipped beam when it gets dark.
Here we provide you with the complete package for a very simple retrofit.
A significant increase in comfort in your AUDI A1 8X.
Scope of delivery:
- - 1x original AUDI A1 8X light/rain sensor including gel pad (depending on model)
- - 1x original AUDI A1 8X light switch with "AUTO" position (depending on model)
- - 1x Original AUDI A1 8X retaining spring light/rain sensor (depending on model)
- - 1x Original AUDI A1 8X Gelpad light/rain sensor (depending on model)
- - 1x pre-assembled cable set (depending on model)
Installation time: approx. 2 -3 hours

Product attributes:
Retrofitting the original light/rain sensor is possible on all AUDI A1 / S1 8X models of all body styles and all equipment variants.
The steering column lever / wiper lever does NOT need to be replaced (all models only have one wiper lever from the factory).
Depending on the chassis number provided, we will supply you with the appropriate original parts for easy retrofitting in your AUDI A1.
If a mirror is currently installed which is only glued to the window with an adhesive dot (see article image), the windscreen must be replaced with a windscreen with a mount for the light/rain sensor (or with a mount for the automatically dimming interior mirror) (your car glass specialist will know this).
Many of our customers associate this with, for example, replacing the windshield after a "stone impact".
All other mirrors (with or without auto-dimming etc.) ALL fit and DO NOT need to be replaced.
The light/rain sensor is a separate component and has NOTHING to do with the interior mirror.
