Upgrade your AUDI A1 8X with the original heated exterior mirrors / mirror glasses.
No more icy, snowy or frozen mirrors in winter.
Simply retrofit this convenient system into your AUDI A1 8X yourself.
+ Operation is via the new switch position in the driver's door.
+ With subsequently available passenger mirror lowering, the right mirror glass goes down when you engage reverse gear and the twist switch on the right outside mirror is set.
+ As installed at the factory - original system!
After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you to completely automatically activate the electrically heated vehicle mirrors.

Product attributes:
The retrofitting of the original heated mirror glasses / mirror heating is possible on all AUDI A1 / S1 8X models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift or facelift), all body styles (Sportback, 3-door) and all equipment variants.
Your AUDI A1 8X detects how warm or cold it is using the factory-installed temperature sensor and switches the mirror heating on or off.
The supplied cable set connects the door control unit (located inside the door) to the mirror glasses.
If the knob is in the middle position, heating will continue as long as the engine is on (depending on the outside temperature).
If you turn the knob away from the middle, e.g. to the left or right mirror, the mirror glass heating is turned off.
