BMW F06 640i xDrive Gran Coupe lowering with coil springs

We were able to lower a beautiful BMW 640i Gran Coupe (F06) with xDrive and Dynamic Damper Control (DCC) by a full 40mm using H&R coil springs . The DDC dampers on the BMW 640i Gran Coupe can be adjusted in several stages from the cockpit - SPORT, COMFORT and COMFORT+ - the customer did not want to do without this feature.

So a coilover suspension was out of the question. But since there isn't much on the market for a proper lowering for the BMW640i Gran Coupe, we installed the H&R coilover springs. These have been specially developed for the BMW's DDC dampers (of course also for other brands such as AUDI, Mercedes and many more with adjustable dampers) and can be adjusted in height even when installed.

Conclusion: perfect lowering with optimal driving comfort even in “hard” SPORT mode.
